I so greatly enjoyed this one! Agatha continues to ponder over her love life, but the mystery seemed to be much more the center of the storytelling. And, there‘s a donkey. Agatha and a donkey are like the greatest thing to witness!

I‘m almost caught up to the current publication in the series!

'We have no choice but to move forward-that is how life works. We must live our lives looking forward, but we can only truly know ourselves by looking back. We are defined by everything that we have done in the past, but our only hope of change lies in the future.'

Such a delightful addition the the Agatha Raisin series!

I‘ve officially finished all the #AgathaRaisin books written by M.C. Beaton. ☹️ But I‘m glad she picked someone to carry the torch for her. This was another good one & had lots of funny moments, especially with the donkey. Agatha cracks me up! 2 more books left until I‘m caught up completely, then I‘m going to dive into the show. As always, I‘d highly recommend this series on #audiobook - great for when you‘re in the mood for something light. 4⭐️

4 ⭐️

Another great Agatha Raisin book! I had been holding off on finishing the series because I didn't know that MC Beaton secured an author to continue Agatha's adventures leading up to her death. Of course, 30 books in, I am definitely invested in the series, so this needs no recommendation if you're this deep in with me, lol. However, I highly recommend the series overall if you love cozy mysteries!

I liked this 30th book in the Agatha Raisin series a whole lot better than I liked the last several books in the series. There was less emphasis on man chasing and more on the mystery, which was interesting. There are even some genuinely funny moments in the book.

I started this series in the middle it seems but I had no issue just jumping in. I enjoyed this series and would read more, but at the same time it wasn‘t my fave. Agatha Raisin and her PI firm is hired to figure out who set a fire in a battery factory but get sidetracked by a fake leg and donkey accused of murder. It‘s supposed to be a little over the top but I feel like it actually didn‘t go far enough.

Not the best start to #24B4Monday but spent much of the day trying to put my new bed together. On the plus side though one book finished. @Andrew65 @TheReadingMermaid @jb72

First book finished for #24B4Monday though was only 20 pages left.
Agatha is back to her grumpy but brilliant self as she attempts to solve another murder and deal with Charles getting engaged again. I've always loved the on/off relationship between them. This was another interesting mystery though I guessed the killer fairly early on i still enjoyed the story. The ending was very dramatic and love how they all came to the rescue RIP M.C. Beaton.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I really enjoyed this one! Very sad that it‘s likely the last. 5y

This is another delightful book with Agatha Raisin. She is hired by a company to investigate but from the start they try to make her look foolish. When the secretary Mrs. Dinwiddy is found dead they try to blame it on a donkey but Agatha knows it is murder instead. Her and her assistant Toni try to solve the case but from opposition from the company and the police.

A return to form! It starts with a severed (fake) leg in the bushes, continues with Agatha accidentally going viral with her catchphrase ‘SNAKES AND BASTARDS‘ during a press conference and ends with a spot of canoodling with a handsome man!! YASSS AGATHA!
