Norwich was an important Anglo-Saxon market town at the time of the Norman invasion, and grew to become one of the leading cities of England by the early Middle Ages. It retained its importance during the Industrial Revolution, maintaining its reputation as being one of the most radical and progressive of cities with many dramatic episodes in its life “ ... too good to miss, either as a volume for your own shelves or as a present to a friend.” Norfolk Ancestor
WeaponxgirlNo surprise I have been to every single one of those shops 😆 you could also do a great tour of pubs, places to eat and drink at the same time and I would recommend checking out Jarrolds deli whilst in there as it‘s on the same floor and then getting some food on the market at the end. Norwich market really is excellent5y
