pickThis book was recommended to me because I really enjoyed Steve Brusatte's The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs. A lot of this books is about the advancements made in paleontology, but there are plenty of new, exciting dino-data to entertain dinosaur enthusiasts. 4 💥💥💥💥

This is not surprising to me at all given I've read recent dinosaur stuff and have done so recently, but it's kinda restful to drop back into this old an obsession for a while.

pickNot only was this a cool book with excellent dinosaur information, it was also a fascinating look at the methods behind paleontology research. I never imagined they used so many different methods. I was really surprised to see how much big data is used in researching my favorite fossils. It was an amazing look at the history and future of paleontology. This is a great companion piece to The Rise and Fall of Dinosaurs! #nonfiction
