This was me last night. After having a rare weekend off, I was not ready to face Monday again so soon.
I have to admit I don't like this episode, it seemed too far fetched even for science fiction. A deaf mute who becomes a renounced negotiator? In the 24th century, they hadn't found a way to restore his hearing or voice? It didn't ring true for me.

OrangeMooseReads Push that back one hour and you have me every night LOL 5y
Megabooks Love this. And it does seem like they should be able to do something, but that never really occurred to me, which I now find strange! 5y
RamsFan1963 @Megabooks Unless Riva rejected attempts to fix his condition, maybe felt he would lose his advantage as a negotiator, make him seem more ordinary if he could hear and talk like everyone. That would be sad. 5y
Reggie Especially since in Star Trek 4 when they go back in time to get a whale, Bones is at the hospital and reverses that elderly women‘s diabetes. 5y
