Japanese monk and acclaimed landscape architect Shunmyō Masuno, shares 100 practices that introduce readers to a simpler, more Zen, lifestyle. While not every suggestion appealed to me, the concepts behind them did.
I like that this book is simply formatted, easy to read and intended to be referred back to. 🧘🏻♀️
The only #letterZ book that I‘ve read. A book with little snippets of wisdom which one can dip in and out, accompanied by pretty illustrations. The ideas are simple and easy to follow, great for those who seek peace, calm and little joys in everyday life.

I really liked this book. Simple ways which incorporated in our life, can make life much more simpler. I think whenever you are feeling that nothing is going right one should read from this book.
This book is more like a guide. We can keep refering it when we are confused and not sure of certain things.
Well wasn't this just perfect timing? Couldn't have read a more insightful and thoughtful book at the moment. Written by the Japanese monk, Shunmyo Masuno it really was a lovely quick read that's made me feel great!

The author is the head priest of a 450-year-old Buddhist temple in Japan, and a Zen garden designer! By applying ‘the essence of Zen to modern life‘, it aims to help us slow down in our lives, find the calm, and to feel relaxed and peaceful. Presented in little snippets, the daily practices are easy to adopt and some are deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Lovely illustrations, a sensible read, though I may not be able to follow all of them daily.
