The stunning conclusion to the Cahill Witch Chronicles trilogy, for fans of Deborah Harkness's A Discovery of Witches series A fever ravages New London, but with the Brotherhood sending suspected witches straight to the gallows, the Sisters are powerless against the disease. They cant help without revealing their powersas Cate learns when a potent display of magic turns her into the most wanted witch in all of New England. To make matters worse, Cate has been erased from the memory of her beloved Finn. While shes torn between protecting him from further attacks and encouraging him to fall for her all over again, shes certain she can never forgive Mauras betrayal. And now that Tesss visions have taken a deadly turn, the prophecy that one Cahill sister will murder another looms ever closer to its fulfillment.

Last book in YA trilogy-3 witches sisters need to disguise their magic. A prophesy says that one of them will be killed by one sister. For me this one was the best book-more action, less stereotypes against women (time is early 1900). For me, whole trilogy is 3.5⭐️First books are slow, read them long time ago. High ratings in GR.

The ending may have been a bit predictable, but who cares. This whole series, about three witch sisters in an alternative history where magic is illegal and women are oppressed, has been extremely charming and...enchanting. Recommended!

Finished this one during the snow day. It was a very satisfying end to the trilogy. Magic and witches and family relationships.
