Book 7 in the Bookmobile Cat Mystery series was not a disappointment. I'm starting to know the pattern of the stories, but each one is just intriguing enough to keep me interested while not taxing my brain. #67-2022

I tend to have several books going at once, so I often finish some around the same time. Today I finished The Sentence is Death, which I really liked in spite of some improbable and convoluted plot elements, and Booking the Crook, which I also liked — it‘s a typical cozy mystery, but fun.
Another nice addition to the Bookmobile Cat mystery series. Minnie, with her cat Eddie, discovers the murder victim while out on a bookmobile run. Lots of suspects abound. Meanwhile, Minnie is dealing with other things in her life that could become rather complicated. A fast read.
One of my favorite cozy mystery series has a new book! A pleasant surprise to find for me on my re-entry day at the library. 😊

Minnie is a great character & I can feel her passion for the bookmobile. What made this a mystery that you could lose yourself to was that there were many characters in this story that had plausible reasons for being a possible suspect. Minnie had many uncomfortable moments where she had to turn a critical eye on people she thought she really knew. In addition, Minnie had some surprises in her personal life that she also had to focus on.
