This is the beginning of Charles and Anna‘s story. I really like Patricia Briggs‘s writing and the stories she tells. She‘s written other series also and they all are in my audio library. Maybe this is going to be the year that I finally listen them to all.

Sometimes you just need a comfort reread… I love Patricia Briggs‘ urban fantasy! I went through a phase where I read all of her books back to back, but I really need to catch up on the few that have been published in the last few years!

I enjoy this series and it was a fun mini story to see how it all started.

Not crazy about the reader. I don't really like the way he voices Anna or Charles, and they're the main characters. So that's a bit of a bummer. 😕

This little guy woke me up at 5 AM! Sooo early . . . I may have taken a half hour nap around 7 . . . But I got a couple of hours reading in first! I‘ve finished Alpha and Omega (I loved it! But that‘s a given with all things Mercyverse for me!) and right now, I‘m taking a short podcast break to listen to the Fated Mates‘ Roayls interstitial episode before I dive into The Player! Yay! I hit 12 hours! Halfway there! I finished #TheQueenCon and I loved it! Glad I got to spend time with the Scooby Gang again! If you enjoyed #TheFrameUp, you‘ll love this sequel! Full of sleuthing mishaps, action, romance, and geeky references, this book was a fun ride and I hope we‘re getting a third book!
