I started this audiobook on 11.11.16, and finally finished on 1.21.17. Not the most gripping text to listen to while I was walking back and forth to work. Basically, the techniques shared create a survival guide for middle class white people who teach in inner city schools to help at-risk students conform to the factory-based school system and "achieve". If you're a new teacher, you'll find value here, but veteran teachers probably won't.
