On Feb 24th I suddenly lost my step mother, and then April 1st we lost her dad. And On the day he was put to rest the 8th we lost our Aunt Anna and an extended family member. It‘s been a rough few weeks. And after being off for a few days my coworker surprised me with Sushi and this Stay Bloom Rose. It was really sweet of her. I‘m just glad that these past few days are over. Cause it‘s been something. #faith #roses

Sheilah Beckett is, without doubt, one of my favorite illustrators. Her pictures are bright, beautiful, and sweet without being overly saccharine. I recommend all of her books, but, if you want to start small, check out this version of Beauty and the Beast. #fairytale #childrensbooks
