I live in an apartment and this is the view from the 5th floor. Right behind the garden apartments is a huge park (you can see the tops of the trees) including the oldest living tree in NYC. 2 blocks away from me million dollar houses so it‘s a pretty good mix of suburban and city here.

Jerdencon @Chrissyreadit yes - it‘s Bayside, Queens. The oldest tree is supposed to be in Alley Pond park and is called the Queens Giant. 6y
Chrissyreadit Wow! And I never knew. My friends and I used to play mini golf near Alley Pond but I do not know the park at all. Other than a nature program when I was about 9. 6y
