Absolutely loving this mystery - and excited to see this is part of a series so I can read another Julia Dahl mystery without waiting for one to be published.

Solid, character-driven mystery. Suspenseful, and also grapples with important questions about race, culture and crime, so not just the typical page turner

I LOVE this series. Tried to be good and read my library holds by due date order, but my reading brain wanted this one. And, it's so, so good.
