Pickpick

Abe Lincoln at Last! Is a HF by Mary Pope Osborne. This is an easy chapter book that tells the story of another adventure with Jack and Annie. They get to meet the President, and have to help save the nation. This is a great book to read the week of Abraham Lincolns birthday (February 12). This is a great book to use as a IR.

DrSpalding Independent reading… Or a literature circle option while you are teaching about historical figures in social studies. There are many in the series that highlight historical figures. How about having small groups read different books in the series and then share a loud what they learned? 5y

LibrarianRyan You and the kids might like Secrets of Droon by abbot. It's a fantastic fantasy series that is just one step above MTH. 7y
