Pickpick

I absolutely adored this novel. So kooky and quirky with characters that were very intriguing. Beautifully drawn, such a unique voice

Bailedbailed

I rarely find books I can‘t finish. This was one of them. I didn‘t care for the characters. I felt nothing for them other than utmost indifference. The writing was good but the plot was like a pretentious laundry list of inane events involving boring people. I tried to read this with my partner and neither of us could make it through more than the first quarter.

Bailedbailed

Another disappointment from one of America's most overrated writers. There's a whole lot of nothing happening in this novel, and I bailed less than halfway through it.

Pickpick

Great characters going through bizarre and strange moments in New York city. I really enjoyed following these offbeat characters unveiling New York's different sides.
