Was a slow burner but a very well written psychological thriller. It's frightening to think things like this actually happen!

I had rather low expectations of this book because I got a free copy in my swag bag at Bouchercon 2017. Was not crazy about the occasional sex scene; two at the beginning nearly put me off the book entirely. But I ended up finding the book a good diversion. Lots of short chapters, reads very quickly.
I‘ve loved some Amanda Jennings books previously but I felt this one was bang average. I mean its good, She has just set the bar so high with some of her others. Good story line, I didn‘t overly like any of the characters, they came across a bit bland and the ending felt a bit rushed and didn‘t tie up very well.
I really would love to discuss this one in depth but I believe that it‘s such a fantastic reading experience if you go in blind, so I‘ll finish up here and leave you with this; if you want a uniquely haunting, seamlessly plotted, touching and compelling read, look no further.
