Pickpick

I loved Bosworth's last YA book (Struck) which had a cult in it. I was happy that this has a similar group-they're always so interesting. Reading about Eclipse and the group of people that lived there kept my attention, as did Kenna and her powers. A little dark in some places, but I wanted a seasonal read for October. The rise in action toward the end felt a little bit rushed but overall I liked this one for something on the slightly creepy side.

A snap of last week's library haul which included a little something for everyone: a Teen Top Ten nominee for me, lots of action in A Torch Against the Night for my husband, and the rest for my kiddo.
The Killling Jar featured an #usualnarrator in its main character, Kenna Marsden, a girl who struggles to maintain a normal life while hiding a dark secret.
