When you're having one of those mornings and then this turns up in the Goodreads giveaways. It's like they know! I've been up for an hour and have looked forelornly at my coffee at least a dozen times. I've changed 2 nappies, made a breakfast (for the 2 yr old, I'll get mine at midday sometime š£) and I'm about to change the baby again because he's a poop machine. Sick of the sight of willies and bumsš©. What do I do all day as a SAH mum? This. ā¯

laurieluna @batsy thanks! šIt is a daily battle with the 2 year old, he's hit the 'I want/thats mine!' Stage. I almost had a breakfast disaster too....my partner ate the last of the cereal that is the toddlers favourite š¬. Luckily I hadn't asked him what he wanted yet and I managed to negotiate some toast into him instead of his usual wheaties š©. 7y

Cheshirecat913 Truth in that title. I have enjoyed the 'I want ' stage of my kiddo, NOT. And if she tells me no again....š£ Biggest thing for me is missing all that wonderful sleep. šŖ You are doing awesome! 7y

laurieluna @Cheshirecat913 so have you! It's a struggle and any parent that makes it through is a hero š‚. I haven't had a full nights sleep in 3 years, from around 3 months pregnant with my first š©. As the famous saying goes...'I'll sleep when I'm dead' š‚ 7y

laurieluna @Riveted_Reader_Melissa definitely not. I had a bath at 11pm last night because I needed to soak my arthritic knees. Would have gotten in sooner but my 2 month old clearly knew I was planning a bath and took 2 hours to settle. It's so much more than a 9-5. 7y
