Burrington spoke at the State of the Map conference last week in Minneapolis. Her talk made me want to check out this book of hers. I‘m glad I did. It‘s an excellent exploration of the telecommunications infrastructure of New York; the facilities, the history, and the ramifications.

this awesome little book explains the physical structure of the internet. painstakingly researched and easy to understand, Networks of New York is essential for and New Yorker who uses the internet. Another winner from @Melvillehouse
