Pickpick

What first caught my attention about this book was that it was written by a granddaughter struggling to understand her family legacy. Most readers probably pick it up to learn more about the Zapruder film (and it has a LOT of detail), but that was of less significance to me. Zapruder tackles a sprawling narrative to bring to light how 26 seconds of footage forever altered not only US politics and culture, but her own family as well.

4⭐️. Sometimes you read a book that makes your heart pound. A book that you can‘t stop thinking about. This is one of those books. Of course it‘s encompasses an monumental event in US history. But the book is not about the assassination. It‘s about the twenty-six second film of the assassination. The book was very educational and informative. https://lharvey250.tumblr.com/post/159730069299/twenty-six-seconds-a-personal-hi...
