This was written by a Dutch actress who lost her husband to suicide in 2010. He also left behind two children. It's about her life with him while he suffered from bipolar disorder and hidden narcissism. He got both diagnoses shortly before his death.

Tineke Every friday night entire families where watching this and after this a crimeshow. The begin tunes are unforgettable. He also starred in multiple films. Of one of them he sang the soundtrack, the title of that is the same as the title of this book. Translated in English 'When I saw you'. 4y

It's heartbreaking to read what he thought of his father as a little boy. He was ashamed for his dads behavior. He was only 11 when his dad died and his sister was 6. 4y

Tineke @BarbaraBB Yes it was. I was shocked he got diagnosed with narcissism. As I hear that normally used by women for the exes they don't like. 'He only thinks of himself and he behaves terribly. I think he has narcissism.' And I've once met a man who was very skilled in pitting people against each other. I believe he had narcissism too. Antonie was a very charming man, but maybe that was his public behaviour. Or the diagnosis was wrong. 4y
