Finished my first #AuthorAMonth book for 2024 @Soubhiville

Not having read Jane Austen before I wasn‘t sure what to expect from this book. Overall I quite enjoyed it but definitely a very different style of book about a very different time and culture. Based on this I would be happy to read other books by her.

Andrew65 @Soubhiville I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would, but would quickly become bored I think if I read many of these. 10mo
jenniferw88 I was thinking about you and Northanger last night and wondering how you were getting on! If you want to try another, Sense and Sensibility might be a good fit (it's my second fave after Northanger Abbey, and as we have similar reading tastes, it might be a good for you). I would avoid EMMA & PERSUASION if I were you. 10mo
Andrew65 Thanks @Jenniferw88 fir the initial recommendation and this recommendation. I will go for Sense and Sensibility should I get time for a second one, as I trust your recommendations, as you say we have similar reading tastes. 10mo
Soubhiville @Andrew65 my post office tracking number says your AAM prize package should have been delivered on Jan 16… did you get it? 9mo
Andrew65 @Soubhiville Hi @soubhiville sorry for not replying sooner, but been missing in action the last few weeks due to a major flare up of my Crohn‘s Disease, and other things I‘ve been dealing with. I‘m only just starting to get back into operation. Thank you so much for the package, which is way way beyond generous. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This cheered me up amongst a difficult period.

Thank you for all you do, 😍
