After the Woods | 
I'm really confused. It goes from talking about Girls' Night to Julia's bio dad, which is so positively random that I keep flipping back and forth to see if I missed something.

pickFinished this beauty last evening! After the Woods by Kim Savage was a delightful read! It's a well-written novel that has a strong, spunky main character whose sarcasm rivals my own. The books plot was perfectly paced, and the ending was not overly dramatic like some authors tend to do.
Oh my goodness what a lovely reprieve from the doldrums. This is my special signed copy by Kim Savage, and this is a really great read so far. It's just so perfect as a way to get people into this type of thriller/contemporary/dark young adult genre.
so-soA story about a girl who saves her friend from an abductor and then survives. It's definitely a story that had me sucked in, but was a little disappointed with the idea that the character was extremely analytical and yet that analysis only applied when convenient.
