Lovely and dauntless, abducted by invaders from across an icy sea, Lady Breena vowed vengeance swearing no Viking brute would be her master no barbarian would enslave her noble Celtic heart, but then came Garrick Haardrad, the proud and powerful son of a ruthless Viking chieftain.

#7Days7Covers #CrushCovers I‘ve always read these books and I had to have them when I moved so I went a little wild and got them on my kindle prior to us moving to Hawaii 😝🙌🏽 Johanna Lindsey was a great help in my learning process (helping me learn words I couldn‘t spell because of dyslexia) so these will always be a big part of me 📖😋 I know this is a second posting today but it‘s day two so who know what I‘ll post tomorrow 😝

tpixie @Ddzmini I‘m so glad you pushed through your Dyslexia and found books you could enjoy and help you learn to read. Our 26 letter alphabet is so inadequate for our 44 sounds- we really need an alphabet with one character per sound - reading would‘ve been so much easier for the one in five with dyslexia, and everyone else!! Just think of all the brilliant people held back by the people who were too lazy to give us a proper alphabet!!!! ♥️ 5y
Connster Awesome! 5y
gradcat WOW! Lots of Lindsay!! 😲 😂 I agree 100% with @tpixie — though I didn‘t know about the 44 sounds—I learned something today! ♥️ 5y

Ddzmini @tpixie I would agree there where several individuals that always told me I would amount to nothing but that just made me work harder and achieve my goals so I‘ve always had the thought (from my grandma) that “if you set your mind to it you can achieve anything” she told me not to listen to anyone just go do it (whatever I wanted to do) 🙌🏽🙏😋📖 5y
tpixie @gradcat ♥️😊♥️ 5y
tpixie @Ddzmini what a great grandma!! And good for you for working harder to disprove the naysayers, instead of giving up! 5y
gradcat @Ddzmini Don‘t let anyone ever tell you that! You go, girl!! 👊🏼 5y
Ddzmini Thank you @gradcat I go for what I want and make great goals because I like to prove some people wrong 🤣🤣🤣 5y
gradcat Good for you—I love that kind of energy! ♥️ 5y

I honestly thought I would have posted about this book by now since I reread this series a few times a year but I haven‘t! Soooo anyway here‘s the post! Doing another reread of Johanna Lindsey‘s Haardrad Viking Family series (while “patiently” waiting for Mariana Zapata‘s new book to release...).

CoverToCoverGirl I have that exact copy and have read it several times... classic historical romance 😊 6y

1) Fires of Winter (although a historical this has several different weather events 😋🌬🌬 too say the least)
2) the Guardians trilogy (I know it‘s three books but there are so many places in too 👀 I don‘t know what to pick 😝)
3) peaches 🍑
4) all of them 😝📖📖📚📚📚

Pickpick

851 A.D. Lady Breena is daughter of a Celtic lord who has been raised like a son. She‘s skilled in weaponry, hunting & riding. Garrick is the son of the Viking Lord who raided Breena‘s home. High angst. Breena has many adventures & proves herself to be no damsel. This was written in 1980 & is very rapey. If not for that it would be 5 🌟. I‘m pretty sure I read this in the 80s but I didn‘t remember all the details. #romantsy #osrbc
