Showing off my awesome ladies! I love that my oldest loves Wonder Woman. And my baby loves Sofia ("Osia" according to her). I love that there are even more great female role models my girls can look up to! #GirlPower
pickThis book was very good! Yet, it still had some things that bugged me a lot. They made Wonder Woman seem like an idiot. My other problem was with Harley Quinn. I love Harley, but this story obviously didn‘t read her backstory very well. Other than that, this is a great book! Definitely a good read for a comic book fan, wanting to read a book empowering females as the protagonists.
So I checked but my secret Santa doesn't follow me on Litsy. Not even sure she is on Litsy. But I wanted to share her secret Santa after I commented to someone else that I was doing Wonder Woman.
This is a really good book. Especially for people who like super heroes.
pick(4 stars) Three Thoughts 1) a fun quick read that's sure to delight MG superhero fans 2) Wonder Woman is a little naive at times but love her heart and dedication to friends 3) a bit choppy for an adult reader but I think style will work well for younger readers
bailedWould probably be a fun read for super hero fans. But wasn't for me, likely because I don't know the DC universe well enough. This is a middle grade book.
