Finished my July #bookspin book! I had quite a few issues with this book, but it‘s Juliette Cross‘s debut novel.

Maybe I just had unrealistic expectations, but she‘s a karate class instructor and a black belt, but every time she got into a fight, she froze and couldn‘t defend herself.

This is a series where you need to read in order and read the next book in order to have the story resolved it seems like.

I really liked this book and it had some amazing world building And overall a strong #romantsy. BUT I‘m giving it a so/so because I had an issue with one moment between the hero and heroine where her consent seemed a little too tentative. Every other moment was fine but on part struck me as a little iffy.
