I picked out these beautiful Julia Donaldsons with my mom and brought them all the way to Windhoek as her gifts to the kids. They're lovely but now that we've read them, I'm a bit disappointed in the translation. I wish they'd taken a chance on a younger translator, the guy who did it was writing children's books when I was a kid. Think I'll stick to buying her books in English 😟
