The Antelope Woman character is haunting. Dreams and omens leak into my life as I was reading this. The story is told in pieces by several characters‘ point of view. There is a family tree in the first pages that helps. I like Almost Soup. I bet you will, too. The urban setting feels close and gritty. The rez, open. Paraphrase: This is “a new book partly made from the old book,” The Antelope Wife. I haven‘t read the old one. This one is great.
