SVMS is putting together a time capsule to be opened in 25 years. Students are put onto teams of 4 to come up with 3 items which best represent the 1960s, when SVMS was founded. The winning team gets to have their photo put in the time capsule, along with the 3 items. Of course, Jess & the Unicorns want to win but Liz is placed on a team with her current pet project, George (would take too long to explain his story), & to the surprise of no one⬇️

JenlovesJT47 Saint Liz and her team win. I‘m getting a little tired of this formula in every book. We‘ve never heard of George Henkel before this book & I don‘t know if he‘s mentioned in any others. I do wish sometimes that Liz would do something out of character for once & stop being such a goody goody. Not holding my breath on that! 3⭐️ #SweetValley #SweetValleyTwins #SVT #twins #nostalgia 1w

The 25th anniversary of SVMS approaches with a 1960s themed dance & burial of a time capsule. Students form groups to compete on what should be in the capsule. Jess wants to win on behalf of the Unicorns while Liz‘s group includes George Henkel. Liz discovers that George‘s estranged father, an injured Vietnam veteran, threw the winning pass for SVMS‘s first champion football team. Liz wants to win, but mostly she wants to reunite father & son.

JenlovesJT47 Man I haven‘t read this one in a looong time! I remember really wishing we could do a time capsule at our school but alas it never happened 😪😁 3mo
TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 I know!! I think we did one in second grade but then that school closed… so I would imagine it‘s still there! As for this one, it seemed a little strange that they focused on putting so much 1960s stuff and nothing from their own year! 3mo
JenlovesJT47 Hmm 🤔 that is weird. But hey, it‘s an excuse to dress up in 60s clothing I guess 😆 3mo
