Here, Elizabeth and Darcy still have their initial meeting at the Meryton assembly, but afterwards, Georgianna comes to join her brother at Netherfield, and although Elizabeth thinks Darcy is a jerk, she really likes Georgianna and the two become friends/penpals after G goes back to London. This is, for lack of a better word, a gentle variation. There aren't wild schemes and crazy shagging scenes or any melodramatic nonsense. Instead, Darcy and Elizabeth become friends and fall in love naturally. I really enjoyed this one a lot, although the tension is caused by a love triangle... which always seems silly in these variations because the entire point is ⬇
