So it makes sense that while Jane is visiting the Gardiners, G invites E to come stay with her, since D is away for several weeks on business. But when D ⬇
This is, for lack of a better word, a gentle variation. There aren't wild schemes and crazy shagging scenes or any melodramatic nonsense. Instead, Darcy and Elizabeth become friends and fall in love naturally. I really enjoyed this one a lot, although the tension is caused by a love triangle... which always seems silly in these variations because the entire point is ⬇ 3y
