Ok hive mind- question. Is there a smart watch/fitness tracker that will let me listen to audiobooks offline?
Hestapleton My Fitbit Versa (original) does NOT. Though it does have Spotify but I haven‘t tried listening to audiobooks through it that way. 3y
Megabooks You can download audible books to my Apple Watch SE and listen with earbuds. 3y
Megabooks But it‘s just audible (not library books, Chirp, etc). Unsure about Apple audiobooks because I don‘t own any. 3y

BethM @Megabooks and probably not scribd then either? 3y
Megabooks @BethM no, unfortunately. There‘s not a scribd app for watch as far as I know. There has to be an independent app on the watch for it to work. (the way audible, Spotify, etc. make a specific watch app.) 3y
Avanders So… it looks like Megabooks is way more informed about this… but I would add just a couple thoughts as a new Apple Watch (series 3) owner. 1 - it might be possible to “mirror” the app‘s treatment on your watch of an app on your phone BUT 2 - dude, it will drain your battery and eat up your memory. I have like *nothing* on my watch, and I can‘t even do updates Bc there‘s not enough room. Serious design flaw imho. Maybe later series are better? 3y
Avanders But you *can* download books to your phone and use Bluetooth headphones to listen offline. Is the issue wanting to go out without your phone, though? 3y
BethM @Avanders well that‘s irritating. Yeah it would just be nice to not have to carry my phone with me to listen. Although I guess if I could control the app on the watch and leave the phone in my pocket or something that would be ok. 3y
Avanders @BethM yeah - I do that with calls and texts, and do appreciate the convenience 😁 Did you google the question? You may find some help or good advice there too.. 3y
BethM @Avanders I did to mixed answers. Seems as though you may be able to do so with audible or Apple Books but other apps become a grey area. 3y
