Back to breakfast biscuits this morning, with a cup of Darjeeling Margaret‘s Hope.
Back to FIRE & ICE, too. I still haven‘t truly clicked with any of the characters, but they‘re complex, interesting people nonetheless, and that‘s been enough to get me invested in the book. I hope to finish it this evening.
Throwback to this morning, when I woke up super hungry and prepared a large amount of food to read while I ate.
I‘m not sure about FIRE & ICE yet. I‘m interested in the world and I love that it‘s a Southern Hemisphere fantasy, but I still haven‘t connected with any of the characters—and I generally need that with darker books. I‘ll see how I feel after another reading session.
