pickOver the last couple of months I've been enjoying the Cambridge Fellows series about gay Edwardian academics solving mysteries on the side. Book 8 in the series unexpectedly jumped more than 10 years to 1919 & the aftermath of WWI. The change in tone, & the changes to the characters as a result of the war, were a surprise but overall, I think, a good one. I didn't intend to be reading this on Remembrance Day, but it feels appropriate that I did.
