4/5â Finally, some progress. The pacing of this volume is much better. I love the relationship between Shiva and Teacher. The “deleted scenes“ at the end are always good for a laugh.

Nagabe continues to deliver a unique blend of quietly heart-breaking and heart-warming moments, even with grand gothic forces shadowing the plot in the background.
Finally!!! I don't know if this looks creepy out of context, so to clarify, I've been waiting for the last five volumes for these two lonely people, little girl and father figure who thought contact might be dangerous, to hug and it's happening and it's making me tear up! 🥹
Teacher and Shiva just cannot catch a break! This story is unfolding so beautifully. I really appreciate the slower pace of volume in particular. It feels like we got a chance to breathe for a moment in this volume. But of course that ending means that volume 7 is going to be back to fast paced, and I'm here for it!
Vol 6 complete. This volume once again tore my heart into pieces. Learned more about the main story, as well as Teacher finally. Shiva and Teacher both are slowly learning to open up and talk about the things they keep to themselves and their dynamic just keeps getting better and better. I seriously love this series. #manga
