Series can lag in the fourth book, but this book was better than the last. Looking forward to the next one.

Time for my city‘s annual wildfire. This one is hitting the area south of us much harder than here. 25 homes lost so far. :(

Eric always cracks me up with his sarcasm & one-liners. In this story, more of Eric‘s family history was introduced & he had to come to terms with understanding who his family actually were after some crazy reveals. Something else that is pretty exciting was that Eric had to make some agreements in this story that are definitely ‘rock meet hard place‘ type of choices & I can‘t wait to see where that goes.
