I decided to read this because I enjoy the story of Marie Lalurie and wanted to learn more about the facts vs the myth, but I‘m about â…“ of the way through and not really digging it that much. It‘s readable, but the writing is really clumsy, like a high school research paper. We‘ll see if I can finish it or if I bail...
