My grandparents like buying me a new pair of shoes for my birthday (or maybe I like the tradition of a new pair of shoes from my grandparents?)

Usually we‘d go together to look - but - Nana is still on the mend from a fall and time runs short (my birthday is on Friday) so I popped into my favourite shoe shop near work and narrowed it down to these before requiring the help of the group chat 😂

It‘s not related and totally not the time as it is 3F outside with 4” of snow and more to come, but.... aren‘t my new Sandler awesome!!

Love the color. Not quite mint not quite a use green or day glow yellow but a mix of all.

I think this book would be very good for younger children. I definitely wouldn‘t put this book in an older classroom because they might think it‘s boring. It is very cute for the young readers though.

This book is very nice because it uses real life pictures rather than drawn illustrations. These images are from all over the world. The book also has an index in the back and a map that shows where the pictures were taken.
