“Oh no baby, what is you doing!!”- me pretty much every chapter while reading this book.
Crazy story about a sugar daddy/sugar baby arrangement. The story starts out perfect and glamorous for Natalie, but things turn dark fast.
Nat is a struggling college student living in NYC. She has two roommates that don‘t particularly like her and want her to move out but she knows she doesn‘t make enough money to make it on her own. A friend from school introduces her to the “sugar bowl” - a website for sugar babies and sugar babies to meet. (If you don‘t know what these are, just Google & go down a rabbit hole).
Book was so engaging and intense, I couldn‘t put it down! Very fast read and makes you feel like your in a dark fantasy you could never realistically join. Scandalous and captivating
I got so irritated with the main character mid-novel.
This was an amazing read into the “sugar baby” world. I found Nat very naive, but that‘s what made her so interesting in this book.
What happens when you fall in love with a married sugar daddy, and it‘s your first love??
Very good read with a twist as the end I wasn‘t expecting, I really thought it was someone else..
Fun fast read, highly recommend!
Just my hot cocoa and this book in bed after a long day. This book turned out to be really good. Hopefully finish tonight 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Finally got my hands on this book!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ excited and hope it‘s thrilling. I had to take a break from my other book “I‘ll never tell” (it was getting dragged out) need something exciting. Hopefully this is the one #currentbook #januaryreads
Natalie moves across country to go to art school in NYC but finds it hard to stay afloat financially. A friend turns her on to a Sugar Daddy website and she quickly ends up in an arrangement with a wealthy older man. What starts out fun, quickly turns into a spiraling obsession brought on by deceit. This was a great twist on a thriller and I recommend it.

I needed to sit and think about this one for a bit. The book moves at a quick enough pace, but the mystery is not so mysterious, and it felt poorly researched and plotted to me. I also don‘t know if we need another book that pretends like it‘s shedding light on sex work, and instead is just super judgmental at every turn.
Had to leave Temper at work today since I had plans after work, so cracking this so I have something to read before bed.
Really enjoyed this book! Dives into the world of suger daddies and sugar babies with a touch of murder mystery. A good balance of love and mystery 💗 i loved that this wasnt a typical love story!
"They foster multidisciplinary global thinking and engagement, " Celeste had said, like it wasn't just a mission statement concocted by some communications firm. Gabe had given in, and now his daughter had become a far-left, political thespian with minimal talent. Perfect."
"As they tucked into their main courses, conversation shifted to travel and their dream destinations. The topic morphed into a lively debate about human settlement on Mars. Gabe thought being part of the Mars mission would be a thrill, a chance to explore a new frontier, establish a new world, be a pioneer. "
Bookmail! 😆 No one in our library system bought this..🤔😐
Playing catch-up with some #NetGalley reviews. The Arrangement follows 21-year-old Natalie, who becomes involved in the taboo sugar daddy/baby world in NYC. What starts as a simple “arrangement” between her and Gabe, an attractive and powerful attorney, soon develops into a relationship that spirals out of control… The characters were necessarily unlikeable, and the story was light, entertaining and compulsively readable. Pub date: July 30, 2019!
3.5/5 stars! The Arrangement by Robyn Harding is an interesting concept. I didn‘t know much about the Sugar Baby lifestyle prior to reading this. Overall, I found the story interesting and the author definitely kept me wanting to read more. It was a hard book to put down. I did figure out the big twist, but it didn‘t make me want to stop reading. I think that I would have liked this book better if the characters weren‘t all so unlikable.
Must Buy! for mystery/thriller fans. I‘ve been a fan of Harding since The Party came out. Her newest book is captivating, well written, and different from the other mystery/thrillers out there.
A lightly thrilling domestic thriller that provides a peek into the sugar bowl (sugar daddies/babies) dynamic in New York. Immediately you know someone was murdered and then wind back through how everything went down. It was interesting how Harding wove everything together, and there were some decent twists. Overall, this was a nice light domestic thriller and a really quick read. Looking forward to reading some of her other books for comparison.
The plot is layered and emotionally charged with characters that are believable and real. Harding has a gift of not only of being engaging, but to deliver a powerful, taut page-turner. The writing is smart and complex, while not being trite or contrived. I was fully vested in the story, especially with such an interesting and fresh premise—I wanted to learn more about the sugar baby/sugar daddy dynamic. This book is sexy, smart, and seductive!
Snagged this ARC at work today. Sugar Daddy‘s, Obsession, Deception, Murder....yes please. Only a few pages in...but so far, so good. #arcs #booksandbrews #domesticsuspense #sugarbowl #suspense
