pickVery odd, original certainly, I genuinely can‘t work out if or how much I liked it but my first thought when I went to review was to tap ‘pick‘ so I guess? Three quite different sections from three different narrators, some very dark stuff handled in a slightly brusque way I wasn‘t used to, some wonderful writing sketching in a lot of detail with few words. pickThis Swedish novel is spectacular! It consists of 3 parts with different narrators with a story connected by a singular manuscript. Beautifully written with surprising thoughts and observations. I loved this novel that contributes an original perspective to the feminist #metoo movement. I‘m excited to read more from this unique writer!! 🌲📜⛲️
This new book from & Other Stories is stunning! Beautiful embossed covers and linen orange pages on the inside covers. I‘m so excited to read this Swedish novel in translation!! I may have to start reading it straightaway!
