This P book is an amazing story about a seemingly quiet pond that is actually teeming with life. I believe that the song of a water boatman and other Pond poems would best be used as a RA within the classroom.

DrSpalding You now know the importance of using poetry in your classroom! You could read a poem a day. Anthologies like this will enhance vocabulary and they are short pieces of text that could work well with reluctant readers. 4y
