Iktomi and the Boulder by Paul Goble
Orchard books
I really like this book a lot. I usually really like books that have to do with native american history. How the boulder came to life and how the animals talked about to him were all very cool concepts that i think children would enjoy

I loved the simplicity of the pages. They were blank white except for the colorful and detailed illustrations. It added an element of cleanness to the story.

The theme of this story if very important for children to understand. I love how this book encouraged children to do the right thing and discouraged lying and making up stories to benefit themselves. It only caused more harm in the end, which is very obvious in this read.
