so-soThe premise sounded so intriguing and this was good, but I was left disappointed. The book is suppose to be a thriller and there was nothing thrilling or suspenseful. It‘s a good story, if a tad long, about teenage love that threw in a bit of angst about her adoption.

pickThis was a decent YA novel with a little flavor of a mystery woven in. This was the first book I have read by this author but I plan on checking out more of her books.

pickThis was definitely different than Hunter's Shadow Falls series.
I enjoyed it as it was fast paced and unpredictable. I really didn't know what was going to happen next and I wanted to keep reading. I felt sympathy for the characters which means they were developed well. I'm glad I read In Another Life.
