On an isolated farm, a boy's increasingly uncanny behavior terrifies his family, prompting his widowed mother to seek the help of a local priest. Father Dowling agrees the boy's condition requires intervention by the Church, and elicits the help of his superiors, setting in motion an investigation into a possible demonic possession. As the investigation gets underway, a mysterious and frightful figure appears - an angered soul - who issues an ominous warning: I am coming.
