pick4/5 Stars - This is a wonderful first book into the author‘s Bayou Hauntings series. It took some effort to get past the middle of the book, as the focus on world building and back story occurred, but I felt they were much needed elements for his story. The events picked back up and I was hooked until the end, reading it in its entirety in one evening.
