Just thought l'd mention yesterday the #AtoZChallenge has started... in case where l've disappeared to.
The challenge is to blog everyday day but Sundays following the letters of the alphabet. And l also have a theme: Berliner Cabaret. Hop onto my blog if you'd like to have a look 🤗

Mehso-so

I was expecting a bit more, actually. Specifically, l would have like more of a socio-historical contex and maybe less anecdotes, but that's probably just me.
It is a nice introduction to Berlin Cabaret, though l feel it has quite a few holes.
I do feel l need to read more and get a wider view of the matter.

So l reveal the theme of my #AtoZChallenge for this year. I'm back to Weimar Germany, exploring 1920s cabaret more closely. I'm sure it will be a fantastic journey.

As per the challenge, l'll be posting one post a day on my blog for the entire month of April (except Sundays) following the letters of the alphabet.
If you fancy coming along, head here https://theoldshelter.com/berliner-cabaret-atozchallenge-2019-theme-reveal/

Well, from what l've seen, it's possible that mine is the shabbiest result in both the #24B4Monday and #24in48 readathons.
I knew it was going to be a busy weekend, but l didn't think l was going to feel the tiredness from last long week at work so strongly. I fell asleep both Friday and Saturday.
But l still managed to read a good chunck of this book, which is what l aimed for.
Next time will be better 😊

PurpleyPumpkin Anytime reading is good!👍🏽 6y
Librarybelle Completely agree with @PurpleyPumpkin ...anytime is great! 6y
JazzFeathers @PurpleyPumpkin @Librarybelle l did enjoy the readathon. I just hope next time l'm have more time to dedicate to it 😉 6y

Pitiful time yesterday too, mostly because l feel exactly like Apache (this is for the #24B4Monday, the #24in48 is half an hour shorter).
Yesterday night l basically fell asleep while reading. Today was a busy day, but let's see what l can add to the telly.

BeansPage There's still lots of time sweetheart never you fear. I know you can get a few more hours in 👍🏻😃👍🏻 6y
JazzFeathers @TheReadingMermaid l managed a couple more hours. Not as much as l had hoped, but honestly, considering the kind of week and weekend l had, l'm more that happy as is 😁 6y
BeansPage Then that's great sweetheart. With everything you have going on the time you have is a great time! Remember we all make our own goals put this read-a-thon. And as long as you have fun you were a success 💕📖🤓🤗💕 6y

Just discovered there are two readathon this weekend.

#24in48 @24in48
#24B4Monday @Andrew65 @TheReadingMermaid

I'm not good at all at readathons, and l'll be very busy during the weekend. But l really need to make a go for this book, so guess what? 😆

Andrew65 The key thing about the #24B4Monday Readathon is just to have fun reading along with other Littens and letting us know how your reading goes. Provided you have fun it does not matter what time you get to! Will be great to have you with us. 😊👏 6y

Researching for the April's AtoZ Blogging Challenge. My theme will be the Berlin Cabaret.
Berlin in the 1920s was such an interesting city!

Crostini my finger that l'll find the time to prepare the challenge. Work has been hectic and busy and not helping.

1. History of the Hobbit - Berlin Cabaret - Innocence Lost - Six of Crows
2. Marocchino. Here in Italy it's an expresso mixed with chocolate (some cafes use cocoa powder, some use chocolate glaze, my favourite use dark chocolate chips) topped with milk creame.
3. Caffellatte for breakfast.

Not really in the mood for fiction today. I think l'll leave Six of Crows for tonight and start this non-fiction.
