Matyszak asks “What would it be like to spend a day in ancient Rome?“ The book allows you to step into the shoes of 24 (one for each hour of the day) Roman citizens and experience the world from their perspective. As entertaining as it is enlightening, and better, I think, as an audiobook than it would have been on paper.
