This was such a tale of endurance through isolation and hardship. That when one bad thing happens it doesn‘t define a person nor do they lose hope. There‘s always something to look forward to.

I‘m very glad to get back into the modern classics with my library‘s Victorian Bookclub (books published in the 1800s).

I‘m sure you‘ve all seen this - but they‘re amazing! The Women‘s Prize has reissued 25 books that were published under a male pen name with the real authors name on the cover. So powerful to see that. And every one of the 25 is available FREE to download ( limited edition box sets of books are for libraries)

BayouGirl85 Do you have the link for this?? 4y
BayouGirl85 @Mitch thank you. 4y

I freely admit I got hung up on my own photo challenge. It‘s hard. I get it. But I‘m finally back on track.

The duchess is described as unattractive crotchet etc. after a few days of thinking it made me think of How Silas Marner is perceived before finding the little girl in the snow.
