I‘m currently reading this book of Streatfeild‘s short stories and they‘re utterly charming!

Written from the 1940s to the early 1960s, and published primarily in children‘s annuals, they fall right into the usual Ballet Shoes/White Boots themes of her writing. If you enjoyed those books as a child, you will like these stories. 😊
