Written very much in the moment—the author talks about writing this book as a way to process the 2016 election—this book is about a high school student council campaign. Three candidates—two with ideas & ambitions & one stoner, recruited by a weaseling troll who is the only one who thinks he can win. You see where this is going, right? Social media, identity, diversity, discrimination & more come into play in this high school drama. A fun read.
