Pickpick

This Caldecott winner shows the early life and childhood of Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States. “Abraham Lincoln” is a B which depicts his life in the Kentucky frontier and him growing up to become the President. This book is perfect for children learning about Abe and his background. I would say this would be good for a PR. https://www.teachingbooks.net/tb.cgi?tid=11590 #UCFLAE3414SP20

McKaylaH UDL 3.1- Activate or supply background knowledge of Abraham Lincoln to see if students know about the famous President and give more information on him.

EL strategy #28- Provide biographies of significant men and women from different countries so they can compare and contrast Abraham Lincoln to other historical figures.
