This is a great diverse book as the characters are Hispanic. Theodoro starts to get his life on track, becoming motivated to get into college because of a girl. However, his brother and sister have alternate plans and needs. So an epic road trip along the west coast ensues with lots of lies and discoveries. A touching read about the serious subject of PTSD.

I adored Flores-Scott‘s first book “Jumped In”, but I‘ve been putting off starting this because then I‘ll have to wait less time for the next. Anyone else do this? 🤦🏻‍♀️ I shouldn‘t have waited because this is going to be awesome! 🕶

I loved this book so much. I got angry with the MC's (Teodoro) parents and sister, loved the sister later, loved Teodoro's determination, his best friend, Caleb, and Caleb's parents, felt SO MUCH of every emotion for Teodoro and his brother. So. Good. #ya #ptsd #hope
